School Prep Program
Autism Therapy Services offers school prep programs for children with ASD. Our school prep program helps kids develop the skills, behaviors, and knowledge necessary to succeed in a public school setting. Public school settings often come with complex social environments, rules, routines, expectations, and challenges. Our school Prep program is designed to help kids navigate these challenges as successfully as possible.
What it looks like?
Our school prep program is generally done in a small group setting. Groups are set up based on children’s age, experience, and skill levels. Even though it is a group setting the staff ratio is often 1:1. Most clients do a combined program of both individual ABA and group School Prep. Sometimes the school prep program is integrated into the clients daily ABA program. However, it can be done as a stand alone program. Some of the skills developed are
